Application crash
Published Jun 9, 2026 · Updated Jun 9, 2026
NULL pointer dereference in Adobe InDesign Desktop 21.3, 20.5.3 and earlier allows attackers to crash the application via a malicious file. Adobe identifies neither the affected parser nor the operation that dereferences a null pointer during file processing. Exploitation requires a victim to open the file, and the disclosed consequence is interruption of that InDesign process.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
