JavaScript execution via stored administrator input

Published Mar 31, 2026 · Updated Mar 31, 2026

Stored XSS in SonicWall Email Security 10.0.34.8223 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to run JavaScript in an administrator's browser. The vendor identifies improper neutralization of stored user-supplied input during web page generation but does not disclose the affected field, page, or encoding path. Administrator privileges are required to store the payload, and an administrator must view the affected page; execution is limited to that browser session's security context.
