Denial of service via manipulated cruise_time data
Published Mar 3, 2026 · Updated Mar 3, 2026
Denial of service in Tuya App and SDK 24.07.11 for Android allows remote attackers to interrupt the app through cruise_time data. The JSON Data Point Handler processes a manipulated cruise_time value; public sources do not disclose the resource operation that triggers the interruption. Exploitation requires user interaction and high complexity, and Tuya disputes both attacker feasibility and classification of the behavior as a security flaw.
