Code execution via out-of-bounds write
Published May 12, 2026 · Updated May 12, 2026
Out-of-bounds write in Adobe Media Encoder 25.6.4 and earlier and 26.0.2 and earlier allows attackers to execute code via a malicious file. Adobe identifies the memory corruption as an out-of-bounds write but does not disclose the affected parser, file format, or faulty bounds operation. A user must open attacker-supplied media, after which code runs with the user's privileges on Windows or macOS.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
