CVE-2026-34602Network attack vector

Unauthorized course enrollment via trusted user reference

Published Apr 14, 2026 · Updated Apr 14, 2026

IDOR in Chamilo LMS before 2.0.0-RC.3 allows remote authenticated users to enroll arbitrary users in arbitrary courses. The POST /api/course_rel_users endpoint trusts the JSON user reference and creates the requested user-course relationship without verifying that the requester owns that user ID or can act for it. Any authenticated account can therefore bypass enrollment controls and grant another user unintended access to course materials.
