Account takeover via stored category script injection
Published Apr 1, 2026 · Updated Apr 1, 2026
Stored XSS in the CI4MS Blog Categories workflow before 0.31.0.0 allows remote authenticated users to run JavaScript in viewers' browsers. The Categories create and edit paths persist user-controlled content without sufficient sanitization, and blog-post views render it without output encoding. Low-privileged content access supplies the payload; execution in another account's browser exposes that account to unauthorized actions.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
