CVE-2026-34549Public exploit

Process crash via invalid profile-derived left shifts

Published Mar 31, 2026 · Updated Mar 31, 2026

Undefined behavior in iccDEV before 2.3.1.6 allows local users to crash profile-processing tools with a crafted ICC profile. The byte-assembly logic at IccUtil.cpp lines 1088, 1130, and 1253 left-shifts profile-derived 32-bit values by eight bits beyond their representable range. The profile must be processed by a vulnerable library consumer or command-line tool; the documented consequence is a process crash or unpredictable behavior, not data disclosure or modification.
