CVE-2026-34532Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated function invocation via prototype chain traversal

Published Mar 31, 2026 · Updated Mar 31, 2026

Incorrect authorization in Parse Server before 8.6.67 and 9.0.0 through 9.7.0-alpha.10 allows remote attackers to invoke protected Cloud Functions. The trigger store traverses a function-keyword handler's prototype chain, but the validator store does not mirror that path, so a URL suffix of prototype.constructor skips validator enforcement. Exposure requires a protected Cloud Function declared with the function keyword and a plain-object or arrow-function validator; unauthenticated invocation can read or alter whatever that function exposes.
