Authenticated subscription cancellation via unchecked ownership
Published Mar 11, 2026 · Updated Mar 11, 2026
Authorization bypass in Proper Fraction ProfilePress 4.16.11 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to cancel other users' subscriptions. The process_checkout() function trusts the user-controlled change_plan_sub_id value, loads that subscription, and cancels or expires it without confirming ownership. Subscriber-level access and a checkout request are sufficient to terminate another user's active subscription and immediately remove that user's paid access.
