Offline password cracking via truncated SHA-1 hashes

Weak password hashing in Sandboxie 1.17.2 and earlier allows local users to crack leaked EditPassword hashes more efficiently. SbieIniServer::HashPassword shifts each SHA-1 byte’s high nibble right by eight rather than four, forcing half of the stored hexadecimal digits to zero and preserving only 80 of 160 digest bits. Exploitation requires local access to a leaked or backed-up EditPassword verifier; successful offline guessing exposes the configuration password but does not itself execute code.
