CVE-2026-34515Network attack vector

Unauthenticated credential hash exposure via UNC paths

Published Apr 1, 2026 · Updated Apr 1, 2026

SSRF in aiohttp before 3.13.4 allows remote attackers to expose Windows NTLMv2 credential hashes through a crafted static-resource path. StaticResource._handle joins the request filename to its configured directory without rejecting absolute paths, allowing Windows to resolve a UNC share. The application must run on Windows with the static resource handler enabled; a crafted request triggers outbound authentication or reads a local absolute path.
