Authenticated session termination via unscoped bearer token
Published Apr 9, 2026 · Updated Apr 9, 2026
Incorrect authorization in OpenClaw before 2026.3.25 allows remote authenticated users to terminate arbitrary subagent sessions. The Gateway HTTP /sessions/:sessionKey/kill handler treats any valid bearer token as carrying write and admin scopes, then calls killSubagentRunAdmin without checking requester ownership. Any bearer-authenticated user can interrupt other users' active subagent work; local direct requests remain an intended admin path.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
