CVE-2026-34488

Administrative code execution via insecure DLL search

Published Apr 23, 2026 · Updated Apr 23, 2026

Uncontrolled DLL search path handling in IP Setting Software before 5.20 allows attackers to execute code as administrator. The software searches an attacker-influenceable path for a DLL and loads a matching library without restricting resolution to a trusted directory. Exploitation requires local low-privilege access, placement of a crafted DLL, and a privileged launch of the application; the payload then runs with administrative privileges.
