Web interface denial of service via POST parsing
Published May 6, 2026 · Updated May 6, 2026
Denial of service in the web interface of ZTE H-series routers allows remote attackers to disable management via an oversized POST body. The pre-authentication cgilua/post.lua path fully reads and parses application/x-www-form-urlencoded data into Lua structures within its accepted input limit. No authentication or user interaction is required; affected interfaces remain unavailable until the router is manually rebooted.
