CVE-2026-34425Network attack vector

Authenticated script execution via preflight parser bypass

Published Apr 2, 2026 · Updated Apr 2, 2026

Command validation bypass in OpenClaw 2026.4.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute blocked script content. validateScriptFileForShellBleed() fails open when its parser encounters piped execution, command substitution, subshell invocation, or other complex interpreter forms, so it skips content validation. The attacker must already control a command submitted to an OpenClaw execution surface; exploitation bypasses this defense-in-depth guard and runs script content that the policy would otherwise block.
