Local root escalation via TOCTOU and command injection

Local privilege escalation in Akamai Guardicore Platform Agent 7.0 through 7.3.1 allows local users to gain root privileges. The GPA service accepts unauthenticated control messages through an IPC socket in /tmp, and HandleSaveLogs() follows an attacker-swapped symlink when changing a root-owned log file; the root-level gimmelogs tool also executes injected dbstore commands. Local workstation or server access is required; Windows is excluded from the privilege-escalation impact, although it permits diagnostic ZIP creation at an unintended location.
