Denial of service in Oracle MySQL Server 8.0.0 through 8.0.45 allows remote authenticated users to hang or repeatedly crash the server. Oracle identifies the affected locus only as the Server: DML component and has not disclosed the malformed operation or input that triggers the failure. A highly privileged database account and network access through a supported protocol are required; the reported consequence is availability loss only.
