Authenticated private-key disclosure via HRTT API
Published Apr 14, 2026 · Updated Apr 14, 2026
Information disclosure in SAP HANA Cockpit 2.0 allows remote authenticated users to obtain an application-server mTLS private key. The HRTT databases API includes the X.509 certificate chain and leaf private key in its JSON response instead of withholding credential material. Database Explorer access and mTLS configuration are required; the exposed key enables application-server impersonation and interception of credentials or other sensitive data.
