CVE-2026-34234Known exploitationPublic exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated RCE via installer shell interpolation

Published May 19, 2026 · Updated May 19, 2026

OS command injection in CtrlPanel 1.1.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute commands through the web installer. The installer loads POST handlers before checking install.lock, and its SMTP and Pterodactyl handlers interpolate input into run_console(), which invokes bash -c. Exploitation requires the installer directory to remain deployed and runs commands with the web server process's privileges, enabling server compromise.
