SQL execution and file write via upgrade CSRF
Published Apr 3, 2026 · Updated Apr 3, 2026
CSRF in emlog before 2.6.8 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL and write files via an administrator-opened link. admin/upgrade.php reads source and upsql from GET parameters, executes downloaded SQL, and extracts a referenced ZIP into the web root without checking a CSRF token. An authenticated administrator must open the crafted link; the resulting database and web-root modifications allow full site compromise.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
