Admin-level code execution via unchecked settings_class
Published May 19, 2026 · Updated May 19, 2026
Unsafe reflection in CtrlPanel 1.1.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users with admin settings access to execute code remotely. SettingsController update() passes request-supplied settings_class values to dynamic static calls and object construction without an allowlist. Exploitation requires a valid CSRF token and admin settings write permission, plus an autoloadable dependency class with a useful constructor or magic-method gadget.
