Authenticated credential disclosure via serialized query handles
Published Mar 31, 2026 · Updated Mar 31, 2026
Information disclosure in Trino 439 through 479 allows remote authenticated users with SQL write access to read object-storage credentials. Iceberg connector write and maintenance handles retain static or temporary access keys, and query-plan serialization places those keys in query JSON. Exposure requires an Iceberg REST Catalog using static or vended credentials; leaked keys grant access to underlying data.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
