Authenticated SSRF via unresolved hostname validation
Published May 22, 2026 · Updated May 22, 2026
SSRF in Webhook and HTTP Request blocks in Typebot before 3.16.0 allows remote authenticated users to read internal HTTP responses. The validateHttpReqUrl function accepts ordinary hostnames without resolving and checking their destination addresses before the backend HTTP client fetches them. Any user able to configure or trigger these blocks can reach loopback, cloud metadata, or private-network services and receive response bodies in execution logs.
