Missing authentication in the Nhost CLI MCP server before 1.41.0 allows attackers to control configured projects via cross-origin requests. When --bind opens the SSE and JSON-RPC endpoints, wildcard CORS and acceptance of text/plain POST bodies let browser scripts bypass preflight and invoke tools without a token. Exploitation requires an explicit network bind, a developer visiting a malicious page, and cloud configuration for impact beyond local data; configured tools can read or modify project data and run raw SQL.
