Host compromise via unchecked backup configuration

Improper input validation in Canonical LXD before 6.8 allows remote authenticated users to compromise the host through backup import. The import path checks project restrictions against backup/index.yaml but creates the instance from the separately controlled backup/container/backup.yaml without applying those restrictions. The attack requires instance-creation and operation permissions in a restricted project; accepted raw.lxc directives can mount the trusted host socket and grant administrative control.
