Authenticated command execution via newline-preserving heredoc
Published Jul 7, 2026 · Updated Jul 7, 2026
OS command injection in Coolify before 4.0.0-beta.471 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands during deployment. ApplicationDeploymentJob.php escapes only single quotes before SshMultiplexingHelper::generateSshCommand() writes the command verbatim into a heredoc, preserving attacker-controlled newlines. An account allowed to configure an application can add a second shell statement that runs during deployment inside the application container, with host impact only in some execution contexts.
