Stack-based buffer overflow in TP-Link Tapo C520WS before 1.2.4 Build 260326 Rel.24666n allows attackers to crash its DS configuration service. The service accepts an excessively long configuration value without validating its length before storing it in a stack buffer, overflowing that buffer. The attack requires access to the same network but no credentials or user interaction; impact is limited to a service crash or device reboot.
