CVE-2026-34120

Adjacent-network denial of service via stream parsing

Published Apr 2, 2026 · Updated Apr 2, 2026

Heap-based buffer overflow in TP-Link Tapo C520WS v2.6 firmware allows remote attackers to crash the camera service via local streaming input. Its asynchronous local-video parser writes crafted streaming data beyond an allocated heap buffer after insufficient alignment and boundary validation. Access from the same network segment is required, and successful exploitation crashes the device process or leaves it unresponsive.
