Unauthenticated OS command execution via unsanitized id
Published Jul 1, 2026 · Updated Jul 1, 2026
OS command injection in The Guardian Language System through commit e42c395 allows remote attackers to execute OS commands via a crafted id. The speechmac_text.php endpoint concatenates the id GET parameter into an exec() command string without quoting, validation, or sanitization. No authentication or user interaction is required; shell metacharacters run commands with the privileges of the PHP process, and output is not returned in the response.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
