Unauthenticated command execution via unquoted id parameter
Published Jul 1, 2026 · Updated Jul 1, 2026
OS command injection in The Guardian Language System through commit e42c395 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary server commands. The text.php endpoint concatenates the id GET parameter without quoting or sanitization into a PHP exec() shell command that launches jobs/text.php. No authentication or user interaction is required, and injected shell metacharacters grant command execution under the web application's operating-system account.
