Browser script execution via unencoded name parameter
Published Jul 1, 2026 · Updated Jul 1, 2026
Reflected XSS in The Guardian Language System allows remote authenticated users to execute script in a victim's browser via a crafted URL. The designer.php input value prints the name GET parameter without HTML encoding, so a quote closes the attribute and injects script markup. Exploitation requires an authenticated attacker to persuade a victim to open the crafted URL, bounding impact to the victim's browser session.
