Suppressed content disclosure via RecentChanges log HTML
Published May 11, 2026 · Updated May 11, 2026
Information disclosure in Wikimedia Foundation MediaWiki before 1.43.7, 1.44.4, and 1.45.2 allows remote attackers to read suppressed content. The RecentChanges renderer generates log-entry HTML containing content marked as suppressed instead of substituting a visibility-safe representation. Exposure requires a suppressed log entry to be present and affects confidentiality only; no ability to alter data or interrupt service is reported.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
