Authenticated error-log disclosure via missing ACL check
Published Mar 25, 2026 · Updated Mar 25, 2026
Broken access control in OpenEMR 8.0.0.3 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read Ensora eRx error logs. The interface/logview/erx_logview.php endpoint accepts direct requests from low-privilege accounts without enforcing the administrative ACL that hides its menu entry. Any low-privilege account with network access can expose sensitive data recorded in those logs; no data modification or service interruption is reported.
