Application hang via inherited filter iteration

CPU-exhaustion DoS in Yahoo serialize-javascript before 7.0.5 allows remote attackers to hang applications via crafted objects. The serialize function uses instanceof Array and inherited filter() iteration to detect sparse arrays, so an array-like object with a huge length exhausts CPU. Exploitation requires a consuming application to pass an untrusted or user-controlled object, such as one injected through prototype pollution or YAML deserialization, and the affected process hangs indefinitely.
