CVE-2026-34020Network attack vector

Credential disclosure via REST login query parameters

Published Apr 9, 2026 · Updated Apr 9, 2026

Sensitive-data exposure in Apache OpenMeetings 3.1.3 through 8.1.0 allows attackers to obtain REST login credentials from request URLs. The REST UserService login endpoint sends the supplied username and password as HTTP GET query parameters instead of placing them in the request body. Exposure occurs when a client uses REST login because URLs can be retained in browser history, intermediary or server logs, and referrer data; the reported impact is credential disclosure only.
