Authenticated code execution via unchecked dips copy
Published Mar 1, 2026 · Updated Mar 1, 2026
Stack-based buffer overflow in Tenda F453 1.0.0.3 allows remote authenticated users to execute code through a crafted dips parameter. In httpd's fromGstDhcpSetSer, the user-supplied dips value reaches strncpy as s1 without a length check, overflowing stack buffer cp. Low-privileged network access to /goform/GstDhcpSetSer is required; successful exploitation can crash the router or run code.
