CVE-2026-33963

Service interruption via malformed camera-driver message

Published Sep 14, 2026 · Updated Sep 14, 2026

Stack-based buffer overflow in the camera driver in Samsung Exynos 1330 firmware allows attackers to interrupt service via a malformed message. The driver processes malformed camera messages into a stack buffer without adequate bounds handling, causing memory instability. Samsung has not published the required privilege level or precise message interface; the documented consequence is service disruption, not data disclosure or code execution.
