Arbitrary file deletion via archive name traversal
Published Aug 11, 2026 · Updated Aug 11, 2026
Path traversal in Nozomi Networks Arc before 2.7.0 allows local users with web-interface admin credentials to delete arbitrary host files. The Offline archives handler accepts an archive name containing traversal sequences and selects files without confining the resolved path to the archive directory. Exploitation requires administrative credentials for the localhost web interface; deletion runs with the Arc process's administrative host privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
