Local interpreter crash via storage cleanup overrun
Published Mar 1, 2026 · Updated Mar 1, 2026
Out-of-bounds read in FascinatedBox Lily 2.0 through 2.3 allows local users to crash the interpreter with a crafted Lily script. The clear_storages function reads past its allocated storage array while cleaning emitter state after a lambda block. The affected interpreter must execute attacker-controlled source; the demonstrated consequence is a process abort, with no reported code execution or direct data disclosure.
