Reflected XSS via unescaped password-reset redirect
Published Mar 27, 2026 · Updated Mar 27, 2026
Reflected XSS in Statamic CMS before 5.73.16 and 6.0.0-alpha.1 through 6.7.1 allows remote attackers to run JavaScript via a crafted URL. The user:reset_password_form tag places the redirect URL parameter into generated HTML without escaping it, so script markup supplied in the parameter executes in the rendered page. Exploitation requires a site template that renders this tag and a victim who follows the attacker's URL; the resulting script can read or modify data available to that browser session.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
