Victim impersonation via malicious deep-link IdP relay
Published Mar 27, 2026 · Updated Mar 27, 2026
Authentication flow hijacking in gematik Authenticator before 4.16.0 allows remote attackers to impersonate users via malicious deep links. Missing deep-link input validation directs the application to an attacker-controlled IdP that relays traffic and intercepts intermediary token material. The attacker needs a valid client ID and redirect URI, and the victim must open the link and complete the authentication flow.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
