CVE-2026-33874

Code execution via unsanitized keychain path

Published Mar 27, 2026 · Updated Mar 27, 2026

OS command injection in gematik Authenticator 4.12.0 through 4.15.2 allows attackers to execute code when a malicious keychain is opened. In getMacOSCertificates(), each system keychain path has only double quotes stripped before interpolation into a security find-certificate shell command. A macOS user must open the crafted .keychain-db file and then start the app; the payload runs with that user's rights on every launch.
