Authenticated code execution via unchecked page formatting
Published Mar 1, 2026 · Updated Mar 1, 2026
Stack buffer overflow in Tenda F453 1.0.0.3 allows remote authenticated users to crash httpd or execute code via a crafted page parameter. The fromSetIpBind handler passes the user-controlled page value to sprintf without a length check, overflowing stack buffer s. Low-privilege access to the web-management endpoint is required; a successful request interrupts the service or gains code execution in the httpd process.
