Missing authentication in Junos OS Evolved FPC access allows local users with low privileges to gain high-privileged FPC access. The public Juniper record identifies the Flexible PIC Concentrator access path but does not disclose the command, service, or failed authentication operation. The flaw is limited to specified PTX10004, PTX10008, and PTX10016 systems with JNP10K-LC1201 or JNP10K-LC1202 cards, where it permits full compromise of the affected FPC.
