Local traffic interruption via chassisd command handling
Published Apr 9, 2026 · Updated Apr 9, 2026
Improper condition handling in affected Junos OS releases on four SRX models allows local users to interrupt traffic via the CLI. The chassisd daemon fails to handle a specific show chassis command, crashes, and restarts instead of returning an error. Low-privileged CLI access is required; the restart momentarily interrupts all traffic until the chassis modules return online.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
