Traffic interception via insufficient certificate-chain validation

Certificate-chain validation failure in Junos OS on SRX Series allows man-in-the-middle attackers to intercept Security Director cloud traffic. J-Web accepts the Security Director cloud server certificate without sufficiently validating its chain of trust. Exploitation requires a provisioned SRX device and a network position between the endpoints; intercepted traffic exposes credentials and other sensitive data and permits modification in transit.
