Weak password enforcement in Juniper Networks CTP OS 9.2R1 through 9.2R2 allows remote attackers to gain access via password guessing. The password management menu accepts administrator-defined complexity requirements but fails to save them, leaving local-account passwords weaker than intended. Exploitation requires guessing a resulting weak account password; successful authentication grants that account's privileges and can expose full device control.
