Protected-video password recovery via unrate-limited boolean oracle
Published Mar 27, 2026 · Updated Mar 27, 2026
Missing rate limiting in World Wide Broadcast Network AVideo 26.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to brute-force video passwords. The get_api_video_password_is_correct endpoint returns passwordIsCorrect for each guess without authentication, CAPTCHA, or throttling. Any network client that identifies a password-protected video can submit repeated guesses, exposing its password and protected content.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
