LDAP record disclosure via unescaped filter metacharacters
Published Mar 25, 2026 · Updated Mar 25, 2026
LDAP injection in the LDAP node in n8n before 1.123.27, 2.0.0-rc.0 through 2.13.2, and 2.14.0 allows remote attackers to read LDAP records. The filter escape logic leaves LDAP metacharacters unescaped when expression-derived user input is interpolated into search filters, enabling filter manipulation. Exploitation requires a workflow that passes external input from a form, webhook, or similar source into LDAP search parameters; it exposes unintended records or bypasses workflow authentication checks.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
