Authenticated user-data disclosure via permissive API authorization
Published Apr 10, 2026 · Updated Apr 10, 2026
Information disclosure in Chamilo LMS before 2.0.0-RC.3 allows remote authenticated users to read all users' personal data via the user API. The GET /api/users collection operation admits every registered account through its ROLE_USER check and serializes email, phone, and role fields without record-level restrictions. A student account is sufficient to enumerate administrator and other user records; no data modification or service interruption is reported.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
